Morning Anxiety Q&A Video

I used to wake up every morning & check on my physical symptoms & anxiety. Was I holding my breath, achy chest, feeling of impending insanity? Would I have a panic attack?

This made me more anxious & sometimes lead to panic attacks because I was always on guard and would get so freaked out by feeling off. Being hyperaware of my thoughts and feelings caused me to innocently scare myself with my thinking & then frighten myself thinking, "How can I get rid of these thoughts & feelings and STAT?!”

A huge key for me was not checking in the morning. I stopped caring if my symptoms were there or not. I stopped gauging my day based on the morning. I opened up to the idea of being fine with feeling off.

I posted a video morning anxiety on social media and got this great DM:

“Your post about not letting waking up in the morning anxious set the tone for your day flipped a switch in my head. I dread waking up because I’m anxious I’ll be anxious which makes me super anxious LOL! And it did used to ruin my day all the time. For the last few days, I’ve said to myself, I don’t care how I feel. I’m gonna living by my values and do fun stuff and it has made a massive difference.”

What if you could have morning anxiety without morning anxiety having you?
