The harder I tried, the worse I felt

For years, I struggled with severe anxiety, including panic attacks and driving anxiety. Despite my best efforts with morning routines, meditation, and SO MANY other practices, I was unintentionally making my anxiety worse the more I tried to “fix” it and myself.

That’s me in 2012 when my anxiety was so bad that I’d ride my bike to work. It was fun but 100% fueled by anxiety.

Finding peace with a different approach

When I uncovered the truth about the human experience, I realized that my anxiety was largely a result of misinterpreting my feelings. The moment I stopped giving undue importance to my anxious thoughts and stopped trying to 'fix' how I felt, everything began to shift.
